Dear Edie and other uncomfortable Listmembers,

I am sorry to appear to drag this on, and therefore I do apologize to
those Listmembers who do not want to hear about the NPF. Please just hit
the delete button if the NPF issue is too burdensome to deal with.

Edie, I am actually NOT comfotable
endorsing the idea that is indeed coming up, that any money coming to
me might end up coming from Listmembers passing the cyber-hat! I'm GLAD
you got that thought off your chest--I would be uneasy if you harbored
that feeling and never felt safe enough to let it out. Thank you for
sharing it.

Edie, even though 2 lawyers have approached me about a lawsuit
against the NPF, I still feel an awful, sick feeling in the pit of my
stomach, when I even CONSIDER the idea of a lawsuit.. If the NPF would
just talk to me, they would discover that I am really only asking for my
money back, and want to AVOID sueing. A lawsuit is a LASt RESORT.

I have only posted the List repeatedly because I just don't know any
other way to get the attention of the NPF. Believe me, I have tried
everything EXCEPT sueing. I just feel, deep down, that there MUST be a
non-confrontational way to get them to talk to me AND SETTLE.

As you probably know, I do try to help Listmembers whenever I can, and
have even thanked Bill Turenne of the NPF for his Udall Bill updates in a
different post tonight.

If I were the NPF Chairman of the Board, I would ask myself, can I
afford all the negative publicity? Avoiding the issue produces
ill-feeling that is damaging to the NPF.

Yours,

IVAN
