What Susan says in her posting is what I think, I know - that many of us
feel. I'll be leaving the list for six weeks while we go to our mountain
cabin and I can only HOPE all of this retoric is just a bad memory when I
return.

If Iwere a contributor to NPF, I don't think Ivans problem is how I'd like
to see funds spent. Most people suffer injustice and disapointments from
time to time. Many PWP are lonely and in pain. My doctors and others tell
me all the time that my attitude and positive outlook on life is what has
helped me do as well as I have in the last twelve or more years I've known I
had Parkinson's. I don't allow myself pitty parties and inflict those around
me with my problems - they have problems of their own.

I know $2,200 is a lot of money but maybe you should have looked for help
closer to home and not spent the money on a Florida trip if you couldn't
afford it. I think it might have been wiser to have gotten the medical needs
taken care of and then you would not have been on such a deadline. Then
there would not have had the deadline with your airline ticket.

Life goes on - don't worry, be happy. Sincerely pray the serenity prayer
daily. It works.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change:
Courage to change the things I can: and
Wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time:
Accepting hardship As the pathway to peace.

Acceptance of life as we must live it is a CHOICE.
