I'm not sure my feet problem is the same as yours, but for what its
worth.....

I sit most of the day, and the blood circulation is poor (I was toldto
keep moving my feet in figure-8s to improve it, but rarely do). Hence
my feet are always a bit swollen, the left more than the right, and
slightly numb. The pain that developed under two of the toes of my left
foot several months ago, however, was so severe that I finally went to
a podiatrist.

The problem was that my shoes had become too tight and hence were
rubbing the bottoms of my toes with every step, whichmed meant that
the flesh under the calluses of the two painful toes was being
inflamed (I had thought the calluses were blisters). The solutions: the
podiatist cut away much of the dead tissue of the calluses, wash my
feet once a day and purchase a larger-size shoe.
All this I did -- going from a ten and a half to a full 12 before
finding a comforting fit in one of the brands the doctor recommended
(Angel? I don't recall -- but the pull-on tabs sport "Gel"). This,
plus the thigh-high, white, anti-blood clot hose my regular doctor
now has me wearing (they make me look like a drag queen!) seem to
keep my painful feet problem in check -- barely!

I hope this helps.
