My husband Joe is in his 6th week of taking Mirapex. He stopped titrating at 1.5 mg/day. So far, he's had no side effects, and feels that his voice is stronger and his fingers are not as rigid as they were. However, he still does not have an arm swing. (He was diagnosed 7 months ago - the only other med is 5 mg Deprenyl and many many supplements). What has been your arm swing experience upon taking Mirapex? Also, does anyone know if the different receptors correspond to different symptoms, e.g., motor, cognitive, etc. All the agonists appear to stimulate Receptor 2, and in the case of Mirapex, some stimulation to Receptor 3.
