Ms. Rack is correct about Mrs. Slewett's role in the founding and growth of NPF and in the consequent increased visibility and importance of Parkinson's disease in this country and beyond. I met her only once, at a PDF event earlier this year when she was very ill, and both my wife and I were impressed with her dignity and grace. By all accounts they were a strong and devoted couple.
