Ernie.... I've gotta go with ya on this one! I adore pasta!! When I make it for company I go all out and to the tomato based sauce add red wine or, fresh mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and an assortment of spices and herbs - plus I make it rather garlic-y. Ohhh... and I always make a buttered garlic-Parmesan-and-herb sourdough bread that is popped into the oven till it browns a bit and the butter and parmesan bubble on the top.
