I just found this list today. A friend of mine was diagnosed with PD last year, and aside from a mild shaking of his hand, the man seemed just like the same fellow I have known for years. Last weekend, I saw him for the first time in over a year, and I was really surprised with his condition. He was so incredibly depressed, him movements seems really dificult - hardly the same man I've known. I have found that he is not very pleased with the current person who is treating him, and I'd like to help find him another good Doctor. We live in the Akron/Cleveland area of Ohio. I would appreciate any help. Now I need to get my buddy a computer so he can talk to others about PD. If anyone knows of any support groups in the area too, that might help more than a good Doctor.
