Hi Susan--you asked about Aricept---there seems to be a variety of opinion about it in re: PD. Some folks on this list have reported good results, but in Peter's case, after being on it for a month, he had no improvement in cognitive area, and developed 3 of the major side effects-- insomnia, nausea, and worst of all anorexia ! He still, months later, has not recovered his former appetite, and lost 20 lbs....now stabilized, apparently. Ihope your father's experience will be positive, but thought you should hear of one PWP's reaction. Glad you found the list!
