There were, at the time I had my pallidotomy 3 years ago, actually FOUR types
of PD -  A,B,C, and D.    Then there are the sub-types:  A-B, A-C,  B-A, etc.,
which refer to the PD patient as having symptoms in more than one type, with
the dominant symptom listed first.

Sorry... I don't recall just what those types indicate, 'cause I haven't
thought about this topic since the surgery.

>From time to time there are references to Types A & B PD on the List.
 Type B seems to be a PD condition without tremor that progresses
more rapidly?  Are there really two types of PD?  Can anyone clarify
