We are savoring We are salivating. Sound the Trumpets, Strike the Drums!!!!!!! The Udall Bill is now at full-term. Only the President's signature still to come, and our friend Bill is re-born as the Udall LAW!!!!!!!!! I am so thrilled that I am shivering. November has given us Miracles. I am in awe of her beauty I am misty with tears of joy I am in love in a November that has surprised me with unknown warmth amidst the lingering gold maple leaves. I am so thrilled that I am shivering. Parkinson's has unleashed new, untested powers within me. A rainbow of feelings, from odious agony, to unstoppable hopefulness. November, 1949 was the month of my birth, as was November, 1959 for my new-found love. For us, it is a time of Beginnings, of Endings, and of Thanksgivings. I am still shivering. Wave after oceanic wave Washes me of recurrent pain Patient, pressing, and passionate, has been my Udall Bill advocacy. The rewards are now greater than the sum of my efforts. Last year, before my house burned, I had made pins, each remaining one now charred. "Together We Will Fight for the Cure" They boldly announced in red ink on white. I am shivering in the November sunshine The fruits are still ripening on the vine. I am CELEBRATING With all of YOU, and. tonight, We uncork the red wine. Ivan Mfowethu Suzman November 10, 1997
