Janet, Barb & Fellow Listers,
I'm not sure what I did to give Janet the impression that I am
considering surgery only 7 weeks after my dx! I did have an appointment
with Dr. Iacono, but only as a second opinion visit as recommended by my
regular neuro, Dr. Mohamed. Dr. Mohamed trained under Dr. Iacono and
has great confidence (as do I now) in Dr. Iacono's overall ability and
wanted me to go talk to him to see if he had additional ideas for my
treatment and to see if he was in agreement with all the meds I am
taking. There was never any thought given to my having surgery.
However, if/when my disease progresses to the point I think te surgery
would help I suspect I'd be standing in line to have it done.

Hope this sheds a little light on what appeared to be a budding
controversy!

Hugs and Cuddles to you all!

Claudia
