Janet, this sounds like something of great interest to the list, for obvious reasons. I have a question to pose to anyone who understands how these genes are identifyed and manipulated. The question is this, in SIMPLE terms, how is it accomplished? I have my own ideas, but they may be flawed. What kind of equipment is used, how long does the procedure take, typically? I hope we have someone who can put it in laymen's terms! Ken B
