Well, Liz, I tried! My second guess would have been the front of a clock radio, I have one with two rectangles of blue, one the clock, the other the tuning dial, and the pointer is orange, I don't remember the brand, but check your nightstand! The trick with the arms in a doorway reminded my of the one where you lean against a wall and try to pick up the arm that is away from the wall, and it is not possible........ Ken B
