Well, I'm finally going to do it! I'm going to ask Mel's ND to start cutting the mirapex out and put him back on permex and sinemet. He has deterioted in confusion from beginning. ND keeps telling me he is not even on therapeutic dose (.625 three X daily with meals. But at least then we'll know if mirapex or renal failure is contributing to his debilitating condition. I really did try this time to let the Dr. be the Dr. She is good and has his interest at heart but may be just waiting for me to tell her my feelings as I called her the minute it was released in July.
