Jeanne - hi - wow, you do have your hands full.

I'd suggest seeing a pd specialist, even if it means an inconvenient trip, because there IS a very good potential, I think, for getting the drugs regulated better. Plus, after your Dad has seen a more competent and sympathetic and cooperative doc, it should be possible to do a lot of problem-solving over the phone.

If you haven't already checked on local sources of assistance for your mother the cg, you might want to do so. The Eldercare locator, http://www.careguide.net or 1-800-677-1116, is a good place to start. I've been pleasantly amazed to learn of the number of free or low-cost resources available here in the greater Kansas City area; probably Scranton has a similar assortment.

You might want to cc your post to the CARE list for more suggestions, since not everyone on CARE is on PARKINSN. If you're not on CARE, ask about joining.

BTW it's 2:30 pm here in the midwest, and it looks as though your msg went out early this morning ... so if you're wondering where all the responses are, there's your answer!

Take care, and let us know how it goes.
