I've taken permax for 3+ years and have never noticed that my feet are
swollen any more then they are after a long day [minimal] I know little
about similar drugs but I do have a brief story that you may find useful. A
50+ year old woman reported to our support group that after about 3 months
on the drug @ .25 mgs X 7 a day that she developed a severe swelling in her
left legand foot only. When she reduced the tablets to 3 a day[this ts a
lot?] the swelling was reduced considerably but not totally.An Ultrasound
revealed nothing helpful. One other thing I noticed during group was that
she kept her left leg off the ground almost at knee level. She accounted
for this by noting her increased rigidity but didn't know why she had only
displayed it this week although this was her third group/post swelling.
I will encourge her to use it as a reason to get a professional foot
rub each week for two months. Dont know how the above can be helpful to you
but you never know which puzzle piece you may turn over
