For what it's worth... I noticed an improvement when I was on the drug Flagyl several months ago - even posted about that a coupla-three times, as a matter of fact. I had an infection that kept returning about every 3 or 4 weeks, and each time it did, my MD prescribed Flagyl. Actually, the Flagyl helped the PD more than it helped the infection - weird! The benefits of taking the Flagyl were noticeable (and were a lessening of my PD symptoms) within 24 to 36 hours each time I started taking the drug anew, and lasted the entire week (individual weeks with about 3 weeks off the drug between items) I was on the drug.
