How can it be explained ? Researches garantee that the losses of production of dopamine by brain neurons cause the symptoms of PD. To correct it one has to intake more and more levedopa....to replenish the losses. How come then that with pallidotomy and tallitomy where brain neurons are destroyed by the cirurgies the symptoms decrease usually, and the same happens with the necessary intake of levedopa(dopamine) ? Someone has a good explanation to this apparent paradox ? Greetings, +----| Joao Paulo de Carvalho |------ + | [log in to unmask] | +--------| Salvador-Bahia-Brazil |------+
