My mother Joyce (68/9 months) is going through a rough period right now. She's off Permax completely and has slowly started Selegine(?). She still takes Sinemet, but is one Sinemet CR now. She's having lots of off periods and they are worse in nature than they used to be. She is supposed to start another agonist soon. Also, she tripped a few weeks ago and is only now experiencing terrible tendonitis. She on an anit-inflammatory nad scheduled an acupuncture appointment for this weekend. She asked me these two questions tonight: Is feeling feverish something a PWP feels? She doesn't feel hot, but it's more like having the feeling of having a fever. Also, she's wondering if she'll ever feel normal again. She's (upposedly)in the early stages of the disease and in the process of changing drugs. But even when she was on Sinemet, Paxil and Permax, she never felt the way she used to. Is this too much to expect? I know I've read posting here where all of a suddent one day someone will feel normal. But do any of you feel normal on a steady basis just from the drugs?? As always, thanks.
