Hi Ken:
I don't envy you in the U.S. with the "pay-as-you-go" health care
system. Our socialized system certainly has its faults, not the least of
which is the high taxes needed to pay for it, but we do have the luxury of
being able to choose our doctors -- so far.
The sad part of your system is that people who can't afford the best
can end up with the worst, and that's not fair. Here we can get the best,
as long as we know who they are, and as long as we don't mind waiting a few
months for an appointment.
