About three years ago Bill had a bridge put in his mouth and immediately
began complaining of a metallic taste to everything. This seemed reason-
able since the entire back of the bridge was metal. The dentist coated
the metal with something that was supposed to stop the metal taste if
is was, in fact, from the bridge. Bill felt he could still detect the taste
of
metal, to some extent, and said that food never tasted "right" after that.
To my knowledge the only change in medication that might have taken
place around that time was a change from brand to generic Sinemet.
