This is a very real problem.  The last couple of years of Bill's life just
KEEPING his teeth became a struggle for all the reason's you listed.

A friend of ours in Arkansas, who also had PD (and passed away on
10/22/97) was unaware from pain or any other symptom that his teeth
were decaying until they began to break off at the gum line.

Everybody...watch teeth!!!

                           death after only 14 years...PD was not the culprit.
The
                           PD was really under quite good control.  About 5
years
                           ago he was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive
Pulmo-
                           nary Diease (COPD) and then in August '97 it was
de-
                           termined he had Ventricular Tachicardia (a periodic
un-
                           controlled, very fast and ineffective beating of
the left
                           ventricle).
