This is a very real problem. The last couple of years of Bill's life just KEEPING his teeth became a struggle for all the reason's you listed. A friend of ours in Arkansas, who also had PD (and passed away on 10/22/97) was unaware from pain or any other symptom that his teeth were decaying until they began to break off at the gum line. Everybody...watch teeth!!! Love Bobbie CG for Bill (72/14) died November 14, 1997 PS. For thoses of you who may be concerned about his death after only 14 years...PD was not the culprit. The PD was really under quite good control. About 5 years ago he was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmo- nary Diease (COPD) and then in August '97 it was de- termined he had Ventricular Tachicardia (a periodic un- controlled, very fast and ineffective beating of the left ventricle).
