A friend, in the Netherlands, with whom I correspond occasionally, told m= e of an interesting item he read about in a Dutch newspaper. It concerned a pen, that has the capability of sensing the shaking of the= hand that holds it.This input is transformed into motions of the pen that= counter the original shaking, thereby providing much-needed stability to persons with Parkinson's that have trouble with their handwriting. Has anybody heard of such a gadget? The clipping was apparently very brief and did not provide any details. It would be interesting to find out if there is some substance to this development.
