Hello listfriends, the pen Will describes will be introduced tomorrow in a tv-program. This speccial is for celebrating the 20th anniversary of the dutch parkinson association. Ther pen is a small part of this program. The idea is from Hommer Reinsma, who is a very active member of the board of the dutch asssociation. The principal thought is to develop a pen which "developes" a tremor similar as the tremor of the hand of the user. A technical highschool developed the idea and made several prototypes. After a year and a half of research the pen is ready for the first presentation. The cost is one of the "problems" that have to be solved : about $400. About 50 % of the patients with writing problems can perhaps be helped by this pen. writing by computer:) kees paap
