Getting rid of the Times New Roman font in any given document easy is
but requires a little background info.

With MsWord all paragraph information is contained in the paragraph
marker at the end of each paragraph. This is not normally visible
unless you select show/hide from the toolbar. To get rid of the TNR
font you have to change it in the invisible paragraph marker which
exists just beyond the insertion point in the top right hand corner
of each new page.

To do this hold down the [Shift] And [End] keys simultaniously. The
invsible paragraph marker will be highlighted.

Now select your new font and font size.  The information will become
part of the paragraph end marker and TNR whill not reappear in that
document unless selected.
