I am forwarding this question on behalf of a gentleman from Yuma, Arizona. "I have been taking Mirapex since the beginning of August (nearly five months). My current dose is three 1 mg tablets a day. I was already taking Eldepryl and Sinemet CR and continue with these medications. I recently went to the dentist and was told I had 17 cavities! I had had no cavities at my previous check-up six months earlier. In fact, this last appointment doubles my lifetime cavity total. My dentist and I are wondering if the Mirapex has changed something about my saliva to make me more cavity-prone. He doesn't think "dry mouth" alone could account for this change because my mouth isn't all that dry. Cynthia A.
