HI, I was in the Entacapone study several years ago. Initially I was in a placebo group but later for about 6 months I was in an open label trial. It definitely increased my on time although it also increased dyskinesia. It certainly is worth a try if you have rapid wearing off. I stopped the drug when I started another incompatible study.
