Ken... Of COURSE I still have my car! Who's gonna steal a '91 red Geo Storm when there's all the new Mercedes Benzes, Rolls Royce's, Ferraris, BMWs, Lexus', and Infinitis all over the city just BEGGING to be stolen?!? I'm sure I could leave my car parked right at the curb at night instead of in my locked garage and "all" that would happen is the hubcaps and maybe the tires would be nabbed! <rueful grin> And as for our elected officials here in L.A... well, one of our city councilmen was just indited for felony drug possession. Does that count as "criminal"? (and he won't step down from his job, either, quoting a loophole in the law! His constituents are working on a recall initiative to get the guy out of office!) Maybe it IS better than SO. Florida! We buy cars here, gift wrap them, and put them in shipping containers, so the crooks don't have to get all sweaty and nervous stealing them! Why make TROUBLE? Some of the car dealers have moved closer to the seaports, to make it even MORE convenient. We are ahead of you in treatment of criminals, we ELECT them to public office! I am SO proud! ...P.S. if Zenia Chavez is reading this, please don't worry, I am exaggerating... a little..... Ken B
