I want to second this. Most of the people who work for medicare are
mortals like us. I have heard of medicare denying before and have
protested for my mother --via MDs letters and one from me. never heard
of them saying that you don't need something. Do you belong to an HMO?
The last time I worked in a hospital I spent a great deal of time
reviewing charts and telling the HMOs that the patients could not go
home. Really fussing (nicely as I am sure you would be) really works.
