Donna,

Since your dad is having some problems with the Mirapex and his physician is
more comfortable with Requip it probably is a good idea to switch. It is
important for a physician to become comfortable and experienced with drugs that
they prescribe. Since he participated in the preclinical trials of Requip it
makes sense that he has developed a comfort with the drug and given a choice
assuming that was a good experience he would choose it over a drug he is not
familiar with.

I am going to be switching to requip after Christmas from Mirapex in the hope
that I get better efficacy.

Good luck to your father and happy holidays.

Charlie
