But, just in case, please contact your area agency on aging and request information regarding "free" legal services for seniors with regard to Medicare claims. In this area it is called Legal Services of Northern Virginia. They have often intervened in getting matters like this straightened out. Also talk to the doctors, more than likely they will be willing to set up a payment plan that won't require selling off property. Hope this helps. Lynda Hendricks,LSW
