Hi Emily. You could have found the problem in the carpet.Formalin
(formaldehyde gas dissolved in water)is used in making various building
materials, and, of course, in embalming bodies.I would get the carpeting
changed as soon as possible, if it has the faint odor of formalin, like
that noticable when a casket is opened. It may have been part of the
