I hope you're right...dad (69/5) asked to try Mirapex instead of Permax in
mid-November, and that seems to have launched him on a quick trip down a
slippery slope.

It does seem like every time they've made a change in his meds he's had
another problem.  They added a second dose of Zyprexa yesterday, and even that
did a number on him.

His doc seems more concerned about how stiff he's getting, but I'd rather they
give him a holiday and let his head clear.  One doc told me to leave him alone
for a month before restartimg anything.

We're approaching two weeks in the hospital, and now they're talking extended
care...I'm an optimist, and I still believe it's the meds, but I'm beginning
to lose hope.
