IF YOUR COMPUTER OPERATING SYSTEM IS NOT DOS OR WINDOWS, PLEASE DISREGARD
THIS MESSAGE.

 FOR DOS/WINDOWS USERS:

Attached is a program called Tap.exe. It can be ran either from DOS or using
the windows run command.

Tap.exe is a program that uses the D key on the keyboard for left handed
tests and the K key on the keyboard for right handed tests.

The program counts the number of keypresses of the correct key and the number
of misses during a 60 second period. In the test, the left or right index
finger one half of the finger and thumb taping procedure...and the correct key
simulates the thumb.

Each time (R)un the program is selected, the results are written to a file
called result.fil. This is where your history is stored and can be view within
the program or with notepad, wordpad or DOS edit for printing.

What are possible uses for the program?

If you wanted to test finger to thumb coordination at different points in
your med cycle...this would document your efficiency and speed. If you are
dyskinetic...fine...the few keypresses and high miss rate will document the
degree of severity.

Most mail programs will detach tap.exe and put it in your directory or folder
