To Jim & Roger, Thanks for the feedback. From what I have learned, Elavil and it's counterparts are relatavely safe and proven drugs, IF the side effects don't become a factor. In my case it was after two or three months that the side effects did become a problem. So I stopped the drug and I still have some on hand so I am going to talk to my neuro about using them on a short term" as needed" basis like Jim is doing. The quick acting sedataive effects,(it works the first night) will be helpfull. Lanier
