Hi Judith, Your kind comments are appreciated. Below is a copy of the message I sent to BarbKKFI. If I can be of any help don't hesitate to contact me. Hi Barb, Thank you for the kind remarks. Web pages are not expensive, at least in the sense that most internet service providers supply the space as part of their package. Mine allows 1 mb which translates to about 100 pages. The learning part is more difficult to answer. I used Netscape Communicator to create the pages which isn't to difficult if you are familiar with word processing. There are other programs available just for web page creation, and more are coming out. How they compare in ease of use to Communicator, I don't know. A leading one, Microsoft Front Page, costs over $100. I already have Communicator. Netcom (my ISP) includes a program, but I thought Communicator offered more choices. I had the most difficulty in publishing the site. After I had created the pages, I found out Communicator and Netcom are not 100% compatible. I eventually worked around the problem after several frustrating hours.I spent 4- 5 days on the project. I am sure others could do it in much less time. It depends on your expertise. But it was fun (for the most part), and I enjoyed learning a new skill. I haven't done any maintenance yet, but I don't think it will be too difficult. Bob Martone created PAN's web site (did a good job too). Perhaps he could give some help. Regards.
