I was just in conversation with someone whose husband was recently diagnosed with Parkinsons. The Neurologist was not very helpful . She is looking for information and does not have ready access to computer, although that may be worked out. Her address is in Reston, Virginia. Anybody out there aware of a support group in that area. Also her husband is 52 and hopes to work to 55, at least for reasons of benefits etc. He has not told anyone of his diagnosis and is afraid in the land of corporate cutbacks to let any one know. I know that in the past people have shared their experiences re do I tell or don't. They have an appointment with a Dr. Pinkus for the end of January and hopw that he is better witht hem. Anyone know anything about him ... Washington DC area. Any advise I could share with her would be appreciated.
