Hi Lee... I didn't take any PD meds the first few years after being diagnosed 'cause my then neuro didn't "believe" in giving a newbie Parkie any PD meds till they were "REALLY " needed! Heck... I wasn't a newbie if ya count the fact I'd had PD SYMPTOMS for 7 years prior to getting diagnosed! That said, the only PD drug I took the first several years once I went on meds was Sinemet and it worked well for the initial 4 years.
