Fellas,
This sounds similar to myoclonus.  A spasmodic twitching of a limb when
sleeping.  I quickly looked it up because my neuro and I had discussed this
when we were trying to figure out what was ailing me.  The given definition
in "The Mosby Medical Encyclopedia" is:"a spasm of a muscle or a group of
muscles sometimes causing spasmodic movements of a limb .... usually taking
place while sleeping."
