FYI... On days like today, when there's major regional, national, and international news events breaking several times a day, the Internet can seem likes it's grinding to a halt for many of us "Netizans." I stumbled across the following useful Web site which posts Internet traffic reports a number of times throughout the day - and it's a FREE service (in fact, the entire site is interesting). The URL (address) for this site is: http://www.internettrafficreport.com/ MORE FYI: I found the above Web site while browsing "The Free Site," which is to ME is a real trip - Ya have access to a TON of interesting, useful, AND free stuff 'n "thinggees" for the Internet/Your PC/Services. The Free Site is located at: http://www.thefreesite.com/ Finally, the reason I found the above neat sites was 'cause by mistake - while Web surfin' for MEDICAL sites, I logged onto a site called "Dr, Webster's Web Site of the Day." Being a little slow, I hadn't connected "THE" Web with Dr. WEBster (uh DUH... brain fog in action!) and had expected to find a physician's Web site! <giggle> WRONG! "Dr. Webster's Web Site of the Day" is SOOO unique and interesting (tho isn't fancy-schmancy in appearance) and it's a kinda clearing house or "gateway" to a great many other unique linked Web sites - like The Free Site and the Internet Traffic Report. (HEAVIEST Internet traffic day in Net-history today, BTW, due to the presidential sex-scandal, the Pope's visit to Cuba, and last-but-not-least, the upcoming SUPER BOWL!)
