For those of you who couldn't make it through Clinton's marathon speech he
mentioned finding the Parkinson's gene. We have momentum.
I believe the the new Parkinson Alliance will be the voice of PWPs and work
together with all organizations to continue the magnificent grassroots
effort which passed the Udall Bill. We will continue to do the many things
we did well, correct the areas which need improvement, and work with and
through APDA, NPF and PAN to realize our vision:
advance the national policy agenda(which has full funding of Udall #1);
promote effective coordination among existing Parkinson's disease
organizations;
and empower people affected by Parkinson disease to make a difference
I urge all those affected by Parkinson's who share that vision too add your
name to the ranks of the Alliance by e-mailing [log in to unmask] We will
work together to assure we have the best effort our community is capable of
mounting to cure Parkinson's. PWP must join together and speech with one
voice the simple and direct message - CURE PARKINSON'S
WE HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE, TOGETHER WE WILL FIND A CURE

Council finishes its round of face to face meetings with major PD
organizations. I just had to share a little of my entheuasim.
