Hi Mario

I got fed up with waiting for appointments with my neuro, so started
modifying my own drug regime. I found:
1. In general, it worked OK so long as I didn't make any major or hasty
changes: softly, softly catchee monkey!

2. some of the drugs seem to have a cumulative effect, in that they only
appear to really start working after you have given them a few weeks to
build up in the body.

3. It is equally as important to wind down slowly with a drug you are
reducing, as ta wini up slowly when you are increasing.

Because drug regimes are:
a. so individual
b. so potentially dangerous if mishandled
I am not prepared to give more detail. For example, at a time when I was
trying to reduce my Pergolide, a friend had been overdosed on it, and
tried to commit suicide three or more times! My pharmaceutical knowledge
is insufficient to say whether that was a direct cause and effect, or
only part of a much more complex situation!
