I'm new to the list and it was suggested that I introduce myself (if I want) and tell about my experience related to Parkinson. My finance/husband's mother has Parkinsons. Last fall she went to Toronto for brain surgery which helped a little because things were getting very difficult for her. She has extreme sensitivity to scents. If she is something that smells like anything she gets very sick. It makes it difficult to visit her because you are always worried about making her sick. I always try to use scent free shampoo/soap/laundry detergent when we visit (and as much as possible otherwise). I don't know much about this disease so I hope to learn more from this discussion group about other peoples experiences. So I will be reading as much as I can from the list to start out. Thanks! -Claire Polomark
