Ervin,

I had DMPS chelation therapy recommended to me, and I was about to go
through with it. However the protocol includes first the removal of
mercury from your teeth, second extensive testing to make certain you don't
have vital minerals removed down to a dangerous level, and third a variety
of new drugs.

After talking with Barbara Jensen, who had negative results from chelation
therapy, I decided against having it done.

Barbara Jensen has moved from California to the British Isles, or so she
had planned; she may yet be lurking on this list. I recommend that you try
to contact her.

I was told by my holistic doctor that DMPS chelation was indicated here,
not EDTA.

Early in 1997, chelation was discussed on this list by Bruce Hollenbeck,
Linda (Forrest's Mom), R.A.Fink, Kathie Tollifson, and others - these four
people I recognize as frequent contributors, and you would want to get
their input directly or from the archives.

Kathryn Nannery of McMaster University reported very positive results, but
most other reports were non-committal to negative.

Hope you'll find this useful.
