PBS’s "HealthWeek" Profiles Parkinson’s in Medical Research Funding Story The upcoming broadcast of "HealthWeek," a weekly public television show devoted to health and environmental issues, will feature a brief story on the campaign for increased Parkinson’s disease research funding. The story includes interview segments with Udall Act sponsor Senator John McCain (R-AZ), and Network President Joan Samuelson. HealthWeek is a half-hour magazine-style series designed to help consumers put into perspective the week’s top news and health stories. It is broadcast nationally over the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), and will begin airing Friday, January 30th, although days and times vary according to each independent PBS station.
