Call for papers:
for a session on "Italian Businessmen Abroad" at the 1998 Sixteenth
Century Conference (22-25 October 1998 in Toronto, Canada). Anyone
interested in participating in a session on the political, economic, or
cultural activities of Italian merchants stationed abroad is invited to
send me via e-mail or surface mail a paper title, a brief paper abstract,
and a very brief (one-paragraph) curriculum vitae before 15 March 1998.
