Hi Listmembers and Ivan in particular, Congratulations, Ivan, on your successful initiative. I don't contribute much any more directly to the list (maintaining contact with individuals to do my bit for the traffic question), but I just had to say that Ivan's venture into TV is a model for everyone in terms of developing grassroots awareness. My late wife, Moira MacPherson, was frequently asked by our local (and on occasion national media) to talk about Parkinson's and issues relating to Parkinson's. She never felt really comfortable, but felt that it was terribly important to put "a human face" on Parkinson's for the public. So, I would urge Parkinsonians, their caregivers and support groups to seek opportunities to put the human face to Parkinson's through the media. There is a tremendous ripple effect that can't be measured by the immediate impact. Great work, Ivan.
