Dear Listmembers,

Jay and I wish to take this moment to thank you for your many messages.
As I am a little bit overwhelmed by the multiple requests, I need to
respond briefly to all of you who need a videotape of the program.

Your videotape requests for the January 20th episode of "Lunchbreak,"
the 30-minute live call-in TV talk show that featured my neurologist and
me, on the NBC affiliate WCSH-TV, channel 6, Portland, are steadily
increasing.

Will Kuipers of Dallas has just posted a message about exactly what
Jay and I are discussing at the kitchen table here on Range Street--how
to most easily and effectively obtain, or produce, and distribute,
highest-quality copies of the videotape for you, especially as the
number of orders mounts up.

In your e-mail orders, please remember to type your SURFACE MAIL
address. To simplify matters, I can record orders until a "deadline" of
February 10th. We will keep a very careful list of each and every
videotape request that comes in.

If you have ALREADY posted a request for a videotape, PLEASE ensure
that your MAILING ADDRESS (surface mail) was indicated..

Any thoughts on the process of videotape distribution would be VERY
helpful. I intend to check with health reporter Diane Atwood of WCSH-TV
about this.

Thank you all for your many ideas. Let's keep the ball rolling and
support Joan Samuelson and Jim Cordy, who are testifying in Washington
on Wednesday about Udall bill concerns.

  Sincerely,

  Ivan Suzman 48/10 Portland, Maine
