I have heard enough people telling me they just don't understand what I mean when I say I can't do it any more. They do not want to believe that I can't and so, choose to think I am not willing to do it. Claudia, I really understand about remembering what you were able to do as little as a few months ago, and absolutely cannot do now. I sat with my therapist last week trying to explain that I was considered a "genius" in school, math major in college, have read nearly all the "classics" and understood so many things that teachers did not want me in their classes ( I knew more than they did). I ran a non-profit corporation for 5 years and was a crisis counselor. NOW, I function in the am on a low mode, and in the afternoon mentally nearly shut down, and in the evening don't talk to me. My son and I have an agreement, before 1pm just listen, I can get my thoughts organized and verbalize them. AFTER 1pm (and especially after 3pm) if I hesitate, finish my sentence, I may never do it. I am sorry so many of us are in this boat, but it sure makes me feel better knowing that there are others who really understand what I am talking about. It is hard to help (make) a non-pd person understand. thanks for listening (reading) my ramblings don't forget how to laugh Marling McReynolds [log in to unmask] ------=_NextPart_000_01BD35C2.C96970A0 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <html><head></head><BODY bgcolor=3D"#FFFFFF"><p><font size=3D2 = color=3D"#000000" face=3D"Arial">Barb,<br><br>Your take on Mark K.'s = reactions to his father were very interesting.
