Dear List,
As I understand it there are 3 basic symptoms to diagnosing Parkinson's =
Disease. They are resting tremor, bradykinesia and cogwheel rigidity. =
And following protocol threre must be at least two of three symptoms =
present before diagnosis. And if your under age 50, there must be a =
battery of testing to rule out other diseases, most of them =
neurological. After thhey prod and poke you they try a Parkinson's =
Medication usually Sinemet. They start with low doses to wean you on =
wihtout significant side effects. Then when the meds start working they =
tell you what you already know. That you have PD.
